Carr-bridge have been forced to forfeit Friday's cup match with Aviemore Thistle due to a severe shortage of players, thus bringing their 2008 season to a premature end. However it's still hoped that the League trophy presentation can take place as planned on Friday, and we'll have pictures of that historic event on here when it does.

One more win and the title's ours!
It may not have been a classic victory by any stretch of the imagination, however tonight's 3-2 win over Tomatin Utd, coupled with Tomatin and RBL drawing 2-2 means a win next week over RBL will see Carr-bridge crowned League champions. This will be by far the biggest game this club has played in years and so let's start the build up right now!
We urge as many supporters as possible to head down to Aviemore next week and support the team.

20 July 2008
Tuesday night is a massive one for Carr-bridge's hopes of winning the 2008 David Ritchie & Sons Ltd League title. Whilst we're away to Tomatin United, the top 2 sides (both only 1 point ahead of the Bridge) face each other in the penultimate League game of the season. A win for us and RBL & Tomatin drawing would see us leapfrog into top spot going into the final league tie the following Tuesday.
Alternatively, and RBL win sets up a winner takes all clash with Carr-bridge in Aviemore, whilst a Tomatin win seems them in pole position to face Aviemore Thistle. The possibilities are numerous, so that's all the more reason to get behind the lads and roar them on this Tuesday!

And in other news, Carr-bridge have had to forfeit tonight's Dalvey Cup 1st round match with Aviemore Thistle due to an inability to field a complete team. We apologise to all concerned.
