CARR-BRIDGE 2-2 AVIEMORE

Carr-bridge and Aviemore Thistle played out a stunning 4 goal thriller on Tuesday night, with 90 minutes of some of the finest football yet seen in the village ending in a 2-2 draw.

Aviemore were first off the mark opening the scoring, but Jamie Harrower, fresh back from suspension, nipped between two defenders to head the ball into the bottom corner from a wide cross to end the half all square.

As the tempo increased in the 2nd half, the home side went 2-1 ahead when Fraser Tulloch found himself 1-on-1 with Aviemore's keeper and won the duel. Aviemore then threw everything into attack as time ebbed away and were rewarded with a late equaliser when Carr-bridge keeper Gordie MacDonald was lobbed as he sprinted from his line to narrow the angle for the oncoming attacker.

So no winners on the night, except for the spectators who could not have failed to head for home suitably entertained .
